Hotel Mónaco

Hotel Mónaco

10/10 Excellent
"A perfect oasis in the Portuguese heat—we will absolutely be back! My teenage daughter and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Monaco Faro, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff were the nicest and most welcoming people—always smiling, helpful, and genuinely eager to make our stay special. They even went above and beyond by booking our taxi for us, which made our departure completely stress-free. Our bedroom was extremely clean and beautifully maintained, but the absolute highlight was the bed. It was, without a doubt, the comfiest bed I have ever slept in at a hotel. Traveling in the August Portuguese heat can be exhausting, but our room felt like a true oasis. The air conditioning was fantastic—powerful, quiet, and perfectly cool—making it so easy to relax and recharge after a day in the sun. Breakfast was out of this world. The selection was incredible. My teenage daughter absolutely loved the swimming pool—it was clean, inviting, and she spent hours enjoying it. It gave me the chance to relax nearby, which was a win for both of us! This hotel truly exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of spotless rooms, incredible comfort, wonderful staff, and that amazing breakfast makes it a standout. I will absolutely book again and have already recommended it to friends and family. Thank you for a memorable stay."
