"Location, location, location. What this hotel lacks in on-site amenities or upgrades, it makes up for 5X in the location. Other than getting a rental home, this hotel is the best location you can get with proximity to the beach, as well as proximity to all of the shops and restaurants downtown. The staff is always friendly, they do their best to accommodate any request, and the fresh baked cookies in the lobby are certainly a nice touch. For the price, this is by far the best option when staying in Amelia. We have stayed their 3 years in a row, and are always happy with our stay. "

"The property was in great condition and located conveniently right across the street from the beach. But the staff were the greatest asset. In a world where hospitality sometimes seems an abandoned concept, every associate we encountered was utterly delightful, from the front desk to housekeeping to the bar and even a kitchen crew member on her way home after her shift raved about her employer, unprompted and aglow with sincerity. Kudos to management at all levels for cultivating that kind of culture! I highly recommend but you’ll have to drive a short distance to the historic district shops and dining."
