"I’d give this hotel zero stars if I could. The hallway smelled like the monkey house of a zoo. The staff hardly spoke, and we couldn’t wait to leave. And the moment you left the room you had a little dog barking loudly. The only good thing was the water pressure. "

Pool and hot tub were awesome!! Scenic surroundings, beautiful decor and landscaping. Beds were comfortable and room was spacious, very clean! Would highly recommend !! "The area around this hotel is great. Right on the highway and has a great restaurant as well as others in the immediate area. Gas stations as well. For us it's a one night travelling home stay so worked perfectly."

"We got a suite and it was great. Clean, comfortable, had a full size fridge plus mini fridge, microwave, etc. Bed was AMAZINGLY comfortable, the only note is that the blanket is waaay too hot. Staff was great but we did not find the breakfast good — we tried a few bites but wound up going into town to eat. "

"My husband, dog and I stayed in the Rain Song Suite for one night. It was a nice spacious and comfy room for us. We were just travelling through on our way home from Myrtle Beach. We arrived after 8pm so it was dark and no one was at the desk. They left us our key and we had no problems finding our room. We had a little fire at the fire pit before bed with a couple of drinks which was nice to be able to do in March. In the morning, I had breakfast which was great! It did take a few minutes as they had to start cooking it once I showed up, which is understandable - it was hot, filling and delicious. Normally, they charge $10/adult but as it was low season, it was free. The only criticisms I had were that the shower needed some TLC (caulking needs to be replaced) and not sure of other restaurants in the area of you were to stay more than one night. The buildings are older and probably a lot of work to keep up. I definitely recommend staying here. It was reasonably priced. For note, this hotel is at the edge of the town's downtown - I had assumed incorrectly that it was in a more rural area."
