The decoration, furniture, bedding as well as the water system is new and high standard. This is very close to 4 or 5 star hotel but with lower price.

Fantastic with a Lakeview!

Rob was an excellent host who gave many helpful tips and even packed breakfast in picnic basket so that we could leave early for Milford Sound

Shakespeare House is tucked away in a quiet street 10 mins walk away from town centre. Rooms are differentiated interestingly with various quotes from Shakespeare. The owner, Ray is more than hospitable and cooks excellent breakfast. We r impressed by the colourful layout of Shakespeare House with lots of flowers. A must stay while being on Te Anau. Will be back when we visit doubtful sound in future!

The room is clean and the hotel is located at a very convenient location.

Room was big and clean. Plenty of parking spaces and location is directly opposite the lake, the realnz office and also amazingly delicious pies.

Room is cosy, nice environment and friendly staff, amenities are near by and had a good lake side walk

Room is spacious and clean but everything in the room is dated. The taps do not have a mixer, so washing hands is a torture especially during cold weather. Location is not bad, a short drive to the town centre.

The beautiful scenery, warm service, friendly staff, delicious food and surprised facilities. Overall, everything is perfect.

Amazing building and story, definitely worth experiencing even if you’ve been to Glenorchy before.

The view from the eco lodge was amazing. Loved the stay
