We learned on our last trip into town that you can walk along the boardwalk by the fjord instead of taking the road. With luggage, this is a much better option. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Luggage storage is available if you arrive prior to room availability. Highly recommend."

"Although the staff was courteous and friendly, our overall experience at the lodge was poor. The accommodation is way over priced for what it really is, a hostel. Guests have to make their own bed. A meal is offered for dinner (also expensive), but there are no choices as you would have in a restaurant. The pool was not functional.
