"We have traveled far and often and the host at Kosmos was the best that we ever met. He really surpassed the rest in every way imaginable. We strongly recommend anyone going to Syracuse in Sicily to stay at Kosmos. "

"We circumnavigated Sicily in 10 days and stayed in 6 different towns. Siracusa was our last sightseeing stop. We chose to stay in Floridia to give easy access to the Catania airport for an early flight. Of all our lodging spots, B&B Mediterraneo was the least prepared for our arrival and provided the lowest level of service. It is actually a suite of rooms on the 3rd floor of an apartment building. The location warrants detailed instructions for arrivals. I arrived at dusk which added to...

"Staying at Lidias place was wonderful. After all the touristy experiences of Naxos Taormina and ortiggia, it was a nice rest. Very close to the best part of the beach, we stayed two nights.
Did laundry there. Felt very welcome. "

"The staff were incredibly warm, friendly and very helpful (including helping to carry luggage up the stairs!), b/c there is no lift. We were very disappointed that there was no simple coffee maker in the rooms to start our day (especially considering the caliber of the hotel) - this is considered a very basic standard these days even in 2 star hotels. In room #205, the drain in the shower was clogged and water backed up while showering. The toilet seat was also loose or broken and tilted one way or another when sat on. The glass doors on the showers are also very awkward to open and get in and out of the shower. That said, the hotel is very conveniently located to many sites and the historic center, as well as near the sea. "
"Although it was advertised as parking available, there was no parking available nearby. The nearest public parking was 1.8 km away. The room was on the basement, with the windows directly looking at the next building, so practically, the was no view and limited light. Not recommended."
"The hotel is beautiful and the first night I was there I was in a really cool room with a loft. I left for a week and then came back and stayed another night. This time the room was underneath the restaurant and was super loud until well after 11 PM. But overall, it’s a lovely property and very well located."
"Lovely, helpful staff.
Breakfast was great
Perfect location, walkable.
They took care of parking the car, which otherwise would’ve been a challenge in this area "
"Friendly staff throughout. Restaurant food was top notch, fab breakfast choice. Location excellent for archeological park and museum, short 30min stroll to Ortega. Couldn’t fault it. "
"The breakfast menu was very diverse. Things were fresh and tasty. All varieties of coffee served. The people serving were exceptionally welcoming in hospitable. It was a wonderful place to start the day having a delicious breakfast.
The property was wonderful one of our favorite places to stay during our three weeks of travel around Italy in Sicily Martina, who first greeted this was so thoughtful caring suggested places to go for history also places to eat, even where to get our laundry done she has an excellent Host and made the day id. I would stay here again in a heartbeat."
