"I wouldn’t go to all inclusive to Greece again, maybe just with breakfast included for convenience, because the food outside in the restaurants is muuuch much much better and that’s one of the ways to experience Greece. Seaside A Lifestyle Resort All Inclusive

"Enjoyed this being all inclusive even though it is only the buffet meals without alternative options. The buffet menu did change a little for the 5 meals we had. Weather was horrendous so unfortunately the stay was mostly indoors and inside the resort. Didn’t manage to use any of the outdoor pools or facilities. The hotel had a good gym for hotel standard which came in handy during poor weather. Staff was friendly and our buggy driver was a chatty funny guy. Free selection of beverages (non alcoholic and alcoholic) as part of the all inclusive stay will be welcomed by many. Do wish to see more alternative restaurants and cuisines being included as part of an all inclusive package. Nevertheless, was enjoyable enough of a stay. Fair to say it’s better than the other hotel we stayed at in Crete"

Between meals the snack bar didnt have much to eat so if you missed a meal even by a small bit you were stuck til the next meal. 2. The entertainment wasnt great. It felt like the activity people had a budget of like 0 bucks and mostly just played music. Would be nice to have more to do at the resort."

"I loved my stay, the view and the peaceful atmosphere in the middle of the mountains was truly special. The room was spacious and welcoming; Marcos and Valerianos are very caring and kind. The place is also close to a Taverna offering delicious food and about 15 minutes away by car to Agia Pelagia and other villages by the beach; so many hiking options as well."

"This hotel s beautiful and modern. The breakfast is included and was very good. The shower has excellent water pressure but the bathroom does not have an exhaust fan. The deck/pool area could use more privacy from the parking lot. The room has coffee, two tvs, space to sit and relax, and a king size bed. I found the pillows too hard and uncomfortable. There are many delicious restaurants close by."

"I arrived at the Ambelos with a clenched jaw and tension headache, I left a week later a completely different person. Everything at the Ambelos made me relaxed. The beautiful environment, the stunning scenery, the generous pool, the convenience of the facilities. The property was spotless and Andreas and the team take such care of the place and their guests, in a calm and friendly crete style manner. Fresh figs offered from the garden, a smile and a chat, it felt more like a retreat, a home away from home. At times it was so quiet I felt I was there alone, when almost all rooms were taken. The location means a car is useful, especially for getting food. However I did survive using public transport and could walk to the beach in 15 mins, and supermarkets closeish by. As a solo traveller I felt safe the entire time, in the hotel and surrounding areas. I'm already looking at deals to come back. Thanks Andreas and the team for a wonderful relaxed week!"
