"The design of the buildings shows an earlier time. However the grounds, outside and interior are all first class and up to date. The bed was very comfortable. There were two sitting chairs and one desk chair. All very comfortable. Probably best motel shower I have experienced in a while. Location could not be better as you could walk the entire area of Blowing Rock."

"We loved this hotel. The staff is terrific. We enjoyed sitting on our balcony. The food was good, and the bar area was a nice gathering spot. The only negatives were the main level was often very chilly, and we didn’t care for the pillows on the bed. They were too big or hard. We couldn’t decide. The mattress was great though and there were very nice amenities in the bathroom. Overall a great experience, and will go back and recommend it to others."
