"I really don’t want to be negative about my stay at your hotel. Lovely location, nice well looked after buildings and brilliant for a 10 minute drive to the ferry at Ouistreham in the morning. But please get some staff! The service in the restaurant wasn’t brilliant and a few orders were forgotten, my main meal was ok, but arrived lukewarm warm, as if it had been prepared a while before it was delivered. Having just one member of staff, or might have been the owner, I don’t know, booking people in, sorting out payment, showing them to their rooms, serving coffee clearing glasses from the bar and garden, taking food orders, serving drinks and food all at the same time, on their own is the problem I think. Not the staff member. You know how many people will be staying with you, and when they are coming and who they are, so please invest in appropriate amount of staff to aid your customers experience. I would happily stay there again. Please take this review as constructive and not destructive, as it is a lovely hotel, and I did overal enjoy my visit their."

"The breakfast was excellent. We really enjoyed the selections. The hotel is most charming. The owner is very hands-on and a delight to talk with. Bayeux is a very interesting town, and we really enjoyed walking around the town and soaking up the French atmosphere. "

"Hotel is in a great location with nearby parking, restaurants and shops. Breakfast had many choices and the food was exceptional. Room was clean and comfortable. Overall, the staff was great except for one at the front desk who was not helpful when asked about restaurants and reservations."

"Had to do kind of an emergency booking with this hotel as another place to stay fell through. The place is very nice, extremely spacious by European standards and in a great location in the center of Bayeux. "

"Relative to other similar hotels the breakfast was limited and not of high quality, but had some good items and was sufficient. Depending on which room you get they can be roomy and pleasant, or not so pleasant. We asked for a second floor room and it was very pleasant."
