"Hotel is an oasis in the desert. The rooms were cool & the pool lovely. It was out of season when we visited so the dining options were limited but tasty."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at tge Julian Gold Rush Hotel.Perfect location in Julian easy walking distance to stores,cafes,restaurants.Hotel staff were great,helpful and friendly.Breakfast delicious :)The historic character of this over 100 year old Hotel has been preserved beautifully giving it's guests a feeling of stepping back in time.We'll definitely be back next time we're in Julian.

"Beautiful grounds, lovely pools, and great views. Some small service and attention to detail issues, for example, the clock was 20 minutes off, the in-room refrigerator was noisy (but had a nice ice maker), and poor shower pressure. "
"The check in was super easy. They text you the door code. Rooms were really cute and the oak tree / garden area in the back was adorable. I knocked off some points because the floors in our room were dirty and the shower water was rusty even after running the water for a long time."
