The astina is very modern, spacious and in a great location. If the parking situation and customer service improves I will definitely book here again.
When I book accommodation secure parking for my vehicle is a top priority. I was assured I would have an underground parking spot and paid for that.
Upon arrival someone was parked in my spot. The only other options for me to park was in the visitors spot or a disabled parking spot. All other spots were taken including the other visitors spot with one apartment taking up 3-4 parking spots for their party.
The parking situation remained the same for my entire stay with the same cars in the same spots including mine despite me repeatedly asking the management to fix the situation.
I saw a note on the second visitors spot asking people not to park there but there was no where else to park unless I parked in a disabled spot (which someone without a disabled sticker parked there anyway). The parking spot I parked in was marked visitors spot and not cleaners spot.
I received a large very passive aggressive note from the cleaners on my car and my car was “boxed” in by a wheelie bin, witches hats and dirty towels in bags. The note also said I should be grateful the cleaners didn’t damage my vehicle.
In most other countries in the world a cleaner would be dismissed instantly for leaving such a note. The cleaners should be grateful they are working at a time when many people aren’t, particularly in hospitality.
