"Clean, lovely room, however, was fooled by the Expedia photos. Expedia shows a representative pic of a freshly remodeled loft and the room is an older Victorian room. Room is beautiful and clean but unexpected compared to Expedia site. They should show pic of a more representative room. Check in woman was wonderful and gave us the best restaurant recommendations."
"Receptionist at the front desk helped me beyond what was expected with an emergency situation with my husband who has Lewy body & Parkinson’s. I am so grateful for her consideration and kindness in assisting me transport him to my vehicle. Could not have done it without her help! Thank you!!!"
"It is an 1890s house. If you like old houses this is for you. The bathroom was new but done in a Victorian style. Easy walk to old town on the waterfront with fun shops and 5 or 6 restaurants "
"The house and view were gorgeous. We appreciated the welcome basket and how comfortable the home was for quality family time. Unfortunately, beyond the owners control, we had trouble sleeping due to the local jet training. At the time that I booked this rental, the Jet Carrier Training Schedule had: “Afternoon to Late Night,” however it was alarming that it went until 12:45am. I believe it’s important to be transparent and stress in the rental info how these jet trainings can be extremely loud with many of jets causing the house to vibrate as they pass by. Can you imagine kids being up that late and not able to sleep? It made us feel sorry for the community that has to put up with this on a regular basis. The rental should update the online information to warn that it can be extremely loud, depending on the jet schedules. Not the relaxing getaway we were hoping for but one we will definitely remember.
