I only stayed for one night when travelling around Tasmania. The room was very large, clean with a useful kitchenette. Shower room very big and clean, plenty of towels Courtesy breakfast included cereal, yogurts, milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate.
Close to the sea front and easy walking to the penguins at dusk. Bistro downstairs recommended

we stayed in one of the cottages, they were old and quaint. The bed was comfortable and the site was close to all the amenities. We would stay again if we return to Straughan

There was an exhaust fan in the bathroom that was apparently on a timer that didn’t turn off so no sleep for us at all. No wine glasses in the room apparently you have to ask for them at the bar downstairs? No pen to fill out the feedback for the room and the buffet breakfast was awful it was ...
