"As a family of four, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Parkview. Highlights include: free shuttle from the train station (they met us at the train station exit with a sign so it was easy to find), delicious breakfast buffet, concierge to schedule tours (they reserved a half day tour of Taroko for us and it was an amazing tour too), Game Center for the kids, indoor and outdoor pools, huge rooms, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. A few stand outs include Bob, Vic and Jill - thank you!! We were at the hotel during the April 2024 earthquake. The hotel staff took incredible measures to ensure we were safe even though we were all experiencing the same frightening earthquake. They handed out complimentary food and water, helped us navigate how to leave the area by train, taxi or plane, talked to my family members to answer questions, and ultimately provided us a room to stay an extra night."

"We were staying here during the April 3rd earthquake (7.5). The staff jumped into action to keep safe and care for all guests. We want to commend the hotel for their response in a disaster. Additionally, the hotel was nice, with good amenities. We were not too far from the main area of town. We would love to go back and stay again."

"Located a stone-throw away from the Hualien train station, the HotelDay has huge rooms, a very nice buffet breakfast and super friendly staff Everything to see & do in Hualien can be done on-foot from there A must stay when visiting Hualien (this is my 2nd stay!)"

"We are a family of four spent two nights in two rooms. Both rooms have their own individual decoration and very cute! The rooms are clean and facing the beach. A very short path right outside the hotel leads to the beach, boardwalk and recreation area. Although the hotel does not supply breakfast, it supplies snack and water bottles. A few restaurants for lunch and dinner within 5 minutes walk, including a well known no-menu (Mu Min) restaurant that requires advance reservations. There is also a Family Mart convenience store within 5 minutes walk. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay."
