"I loved this hotel. Very classy, well decorated combining the historic aspects of the area with the buildings original high quality finishings and making it all look seamless. With that said, the view was only that of a nearby brick building but it did keep it much more quiet. They even had earplugs in the room as we were above an alley with some early morning beeping from garbage trucks. Those little touches mean more these days to me I guess. There are amazing restaurants nearby, Gotham Bagels doubles as a pizzeria at night and it’s the best deep dish I’ve ever had in my half century of living. Pretty sure we ate 75% of our meals over the first 2 days from that building. They offered an online menu for the breakfast and it was super convenient. Also a Starby’s across the street did pickup only and it was amazingly quick and easy in the mornings. If you want a sit down breakfast, there’s a fancy cafe in the building with pretty good food and speedy service. Within VERY easy walking distance of Deerfield Station for train people. We took the bus to McCormick for the con and that was also an easy walk down to Michigan Ave. We parked a half block away for 40 a day but could have valeted for 55. All in all a great location with class and I will stay again. "

"This hotel is old and dated. The elevator is small and very slow. Also, there is the smell of weed in the hall way. The bed was very uncomfortable as well. "

"Nice and well kept. Nice for the price and good staff . Also close to the train can hop on any line expect red don’t go to 95 but the other side fine close to nice museums and more "
