Bold Hotel Frankfurt is a very well renovated apart-style hotel located in the suburbs 5 minutes away from an S-bahn and tram system. The single studio that I stayed it was absolutely excellent as it came with a very modern design and quite spacious, coming with an extra bonus of the studio kitchen. (the pictures actually don't do it justice, the room was bigger than my student accommodations!) One big gripe one would argue is the lack of air conditioning, which might be a must in the summer for some, however the hotel remedied this with a new table fan that can be pointed straight at yourself right next to the single bed. Guaranteeing you to actually be quite comfortable. Considering the price, for me it was 30 pounds a day, this place completely exceeded expectations - and arguably it could be even nicer in the winter as the room would be naturally cold - I highly recommend this stay if you're looking for a value apartment hotel in Frankfurt.

Limited kitchenette with only one small and dull knife. Very few utensils and counter space as well. Not many eating or grocery options in area either. Atleast it's close to a train station.

Perfect cozy studio apartment :)
The studio apartment is very comfortable and cozy. It’s clean and spacious. The kitchenette is well equipped with necessary stuff for cooking. There is free coffee and small snacks for breakfast. The studio apartment is very reasonable for the the price. The location okay-ish.

Missed my connection at Frankfurt Airport, so I checked into Bold for the evening. The man working at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, modern, and quiet. The neighborhood around the hotel is nice, too. Staying at Bold was exactly what I needed after a horrible day at the airport.

Reception closes at 10pm and they may not read reservation requests if you are to arrive late... I was locked out on my arrival... in the rain at 11pm... Other than that, a clean, well equipped room in a suburban area. It is good value. I was impressed.

Staying at the BOLD hotel was very nice, and I would be happy to do so again. Checking in was painless and the rooms were very nice. I liked the little kitchen -- Just enough to make a small meal, though a bit small to do anything fancy. My only complaint is that the room was not air conditioned and it got very hot during the day even with the provided fan.

Good size, brught/airy room. Handy kitchenette with all you need for making tea/coffee and breakfast. Bathroom in 403 was very small. Website said reception was 24hrs but they dont advise you that it closes at 22:00 hrs, that reception is not actually in the building - its a cabin at the front so if late you have to ring someone. No lift - so a single woman dragging a suitcase up 4 floors of stairs not ideal. Some good restaurants and supermarket 5 mins walk away which was handy too.

Friendly staff, parking in the back if needed, clean property overall. Breakfast not worth it but nice espresso/cappuccino machine. Great value for the price. Would stay there again!

when we booked we paid full amount through expedia but when we checked in the hotel staff said we haven't paid and need our credit card, we insisted that we paid but he said 'it doesn't show in his system'. we booked Bold Muchen with the same payment condition and there's no problem when we checked in to Bold Muchen before we arrive Frankfurt, after we said that 'yes, we paid'. The next day at hotel lobby, the hotel staff said 'you know yesterday you didn't close the drinking water tab and water all over the floor'. We didn't touch the drinking water dispenser. We didn't drink anything. There's no information that there's no elevator in this hotel The room is ok.

The hotel room was not what it looks like in the picture advertised. The room was very dark and hot because there was no a/c and only gave you a small tabletop fan. There wasn’t an elevator and the area was sketchy.

This hotel is designed to make sure the Owner’s are not inconvenienced... but you are. It felt like they expected me to be thankful that they had allowed me to stay there. You’ll be at their whim. No service ot horrible service is the norm; good luck getting a taxi (no ubers in Frankfurt) overall disastrous.

Be a circus people and not a good experience...
Shower door not working / broken, Wifi most of the time not working, worse is the bed mattress and the bed frame. Bed frame is broken or loosen so it creates a big noise when you turn your body while sleeping, you have to stay still for whole night if you want a quiet sleep!!! The center of the mattress is drop down and became a dip hole, you sleep in the middle of mattress, next day your lower back really hurts; you have to stay at the edge of the mattress in order to get a good sleep, but how? You have to balance yourself between the dip hole and the edge of the mattress, that's a big stress while you trying to get into sleep. It either have a lower back pain next day or you fall out of you bed, your choice.... sigh~

Great for exhibitions at the Messe. Clean, quiet. Bonus , now provides a simple breakfast. Not so good if you are on the upper floors with heavy bag. Shower a bit light weight, better or more pillows required

convenient and adequate
super convenient place to stay if you're attending the Messe fairs. rooms are small and bathrooms very basic, but kitchenette is nice bonus. plenty of shopping and restaurants within 10-15min walk. pastries and bread included for free at breakfast make American ones look like garbage.

I arrived early, and as such the staff (very kindly) helped me out by getting my room ready a few hours before check-in time. The room itself smelt extraordinarily strongly of detergent - like quite overpowering - so I had to open the window. The hotel itself is characterful, quirky - but seems to be entirely without an elevator - so I'm lucky that I only had hand luggage - otherwise my three storey climb might have been a real pain rather than an inconvenience. I'd probably stay there again - as the price was good, and the room was clean and nicely decorated.

Walking distance to the Messe
Our stay at the Bold Apartments went well, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was functional and modern, but being on the 4th floor without a lift was a challenge. There are one or two restaurants, and a supermarket very close by, which makes it very conveniently located. The main advantage is that it is only a short walk to the Messe, and an even shorter walk to the station.

Close to Frankfurt Messe, Close public transport facilities, No complaints about the Apartments. Everything needed is in place. These apartments are recently renovated and I liked the apartments very much. Planning for my next trip to the same place. No problem for free parking as well and there is proper free wifi and daily house keeping. Great stay

Too Far from city center
The condition of the hotel is fine and the room has a small refrigerator and stove top for longer stays. However, it is a 30 min walk from the main train station. And a 45 min walk to old town square. The only reason we ended up staying here is that hotels closer to city center were booked or way overpriced due to the international book fair. Our timing was bad as we arrived a day early before our escorted land tour started. Even this hotel was twice the price of a normal hotel stay there for that night.

No Air conditioning in the room. No need to pay for parking to hotel to use hotel's private parking since you can park your car in front of the hotel for free. Hotel is located in residential area so it is pretty quite. Room design is pretty good and everything inside the room stylish. There is no elevator in the building so you need to carry your luggage from stairs.

Excellent Location o the Congress Centre
The location is good for visiting the congress centre. Near enough to walk. The hotel is one of the traditional inner city housing blocks which has been converted into hotel apartments. First impressions rather austere. Inside modernised with simple clean, functional lines. The parking could be a bit tricky. We found a parking spot right at the front of the building but this was down to luck. The receptionist very helpful and pleasant and spoke English. The room was perfectly functional. We were given a room on the top floor and had a view over the roof tops.
