Terrific location and values
Great value in a fun and historic little town. There is a great city park adjacent to this hotel, terrific restaurants within walking distance, etc. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal. I could go on and on. Loved it and will stay here again.

Nice stay just outside the city
The hotel is quite large and located in a lovely area just outside of the city. The staff are not over-friendly but not rude either. We stayed here because we had a car and this hotel offers easy parking. Breakfast was great. We’d stay here again.

Nice business like hotel with extensive breakfast buffet (should add croissants or sweet rolls). Truly threadbare towels every day and no good shampoo, just shower gel.

Very good value!
We had a nice room and everything went smoothly. Friendly and competent service. The breakfast was excellent. We went back for a second stay - and our experience was confirmed. We will stay there again and have already recommended it to our friends.

A good hotel at a reasonable price.
We had a family dinner at the hotel which was excellent. Unfortunately we were misled about the price in that we were told that water, tea and coffee were included, but we got an extra bill at the end for €120 for 18 bottles of water, an outrageous €5+ per bottle.

When I checked in, the hotel did not have my prepaid reservation from Expedia. The front desk clerk copied my Expedia reservation and provided me with acceptable accommodations. When I checked-out, the front desk clerk attempted to charge me for the room... again, it was a prepaid reservation. Again, the front desk clerk copied my Expedia reservation. It was relatively painless considering the potential for discord. I credit the staff for taking care of this...it did however leave me to believe this is a common occurrence...not really what I would expect from a four star hotel.

Good location, quiet and tranquil.
Arrived early and allowed access to rooms. Good, comfortable room overlooking a park and autumnal foliage. All told an excellent choice.

Whilst the room looked to be fine at first glance, a closer look revealed several areas of concern, in what is supposedly a 4 star hotel. Looking at the carpet, showed it to be decidedly grubby, there were black marks on the net curtain, which it's self appeared to be a bit thin in places. As I drew the curtains, it became apparent that the right one was not fastened at the end, nor would it meet the left one in the middle, without leaving a gap at the end. A closer look also revealed there to be several small holes in it, letting light from the car park through. A look at the bedside light, showed there to be large amounts of silver paint missing from the base. As dawn broke, the curtain problem proved to be a real inconvenience, letting large amounts of daylight into the room. After a while, I decided to take a shower, drawing the shower curtain back, revealed several areas where the bath enamel was missing. A closer examination of the bathroom, showed at least one of the downlighters was not flush in it's housing. It was also apparent, that dirt had been allowed to build up over time, in areas not directly in the line of sight. It would appear that the room was in desperate need of some TLC, and given the dark colours used, (grey carpet with a dark red pattern, light brown bathroom decor) a refurbishment to modern standards certainly wouldn't go amiss.

Simply pleasant!
This was my second stay in this hotel. Same as the first time - very pleasant and comfortable. Clean rooms, convenient location, great service from the personnel at the reception. Some minor renovations would soon be actually due, but nothing major. Overall - the best choice you could ever possibly make for the price! And anybody who would rate it negatively, is not really being objective. I would definitely visit again, and would 100% recommend it in case I'm being asked. Thank you.

10 minutes walk from Bad Soden S3 Station. Clean and comfortable hotel. I stay here for one week and It is just like what I think before my trip. The breakfast buffet is great and Tai resturant just across street open until 11:00pm. The wifi might need to improve. and My surname which is WANG was print as Yun Wang in the registery system,it makes operator difficult to find my full name, when the customs police officer called the hotel to check whether has this person staying at hotel when my wife is clearing the customs. but finally it is sovled when I gave them the room number. Hope next time staff can be familiar with the chinese surname. thanks. Anyway, I like this hotel, I might come back next year. thanks.

Nice hotel, close to local amenities.
Nice hotel about halfway up a hill. Rooms either overlook the country park, or the hotel's car park. Most appear to have balconies, accessed by sliding doors. Space is well utilised, allowing luggage to be stored out of the way. There is no air conditioning, which may be a problem in the summer. Although the two radiators kept the room very warm, especially as the temperature was below freezing a lot of the time. I can't comment on the food at the hotel, as I never ate there. Preferring to eat at the various restaurants in the town. The room was clean on arrival, and maintained that way by the cleaning staff. The hotel is no more than a 10 minute walk from the suburban train station, which is situated very close to various shops, and restaurants. As I prefer to be left alone when staying at a hotel, this proved to be ideal. Although if there was anything you wanted, I wouldn't have thought it would have been a problem. From what little interaction I had with the staff, they were always polite and courteous. Would I stay there again? Yes I would, although I would probably prefer somewhere that had air conditioning during the summer months.
