"I had a wonderful stay at the Sun Rose Hotel in Hollywood. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous, with a stylish and welcoming atmosphere that made the experience feel special from the moment I arrived. One of the highlights of my stay was the rooftop pool, it’s truly amazing. The views, ambiance, and overall vibe made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The location is another major plus. Being right in the heart of Hollywood made it incredibly convenient to explore the area, with plenty of attractions, dining, and entertainment just steps away. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay in a prime location."

The only thing is that we got a double bed room and the beds were a little too small to fit two people in my opinion but everything else was good."

"Shower water pressure is very low. Air in room is humid even with air conditioner, blowing all day long. Clean room. Footsteps from upstairs is clearly heard. They gave two free drinks at the bar, which was nice of them. Room key does not work for the pool. They need to guide you in order for them to open the pool. Pool is not heated. "

"I paid for a suite, which was two storey. My room was just a large double, with a plastic floor. bathroom was clean but it took 4 mins for the hot water to come through the sink tap and water was leaking from the sink tap when you switched to cold. bath didn't drain properly. Sheets on the bed were incredibly scratchy and uncomfortable. Room was very worn with wallpaper being patched in various places. Used the vending machines both of them to try to get bottled water. Machines just ate my money, no product. Corridors and decor throughout the hotel was very tired. As a single female traveling I didn't feel very safe here. Didn't seem to be any security, no staff in reception at any time of day and front doors constantly open, so anyone can walk in. While you need your room key to use the elevators if someone is stood waiting for the elevator you could easily gain access to any area of the hotel. Considering this stay cost me over $300 a night I would have been better off in a standard room of a holiday inn express. I would never stay here again."

"This was my 2nd time to stay at this hotel. On both occasions I stayed for 6 nights. The rooms I had were lovely - large, clean and comfortable. Most staff I encountered were extremely friendly and efficient. I appreciated being greeted when returning each evening. I intended to give a 5 star review but I changed my mind after my interaction with the receptionist on the last morning. I had gone out for a walk and got delayed when taking a phone call. When I returned I requested an additional 15 mins (this was at 10.40pm) to shower and leave the room. The receptionist was on call, clearly with another staff member and I had to wait 4-5 minutes to talk to her. She said she could only give me 5 minutes extra in the room. The cleaning supervisor knocked my door at 11.03am. I ended up in reception with wet hair, putting on my jewellery and fixing my last few items. It was extremely disappointing that I couldn’t be given this small amount of time. I had had no housekeeping for the 6 days as I am a tidy person and there were sufficient towels and supplies in the room. Therefore I think I am quite a low maintenance guest. The receptionist did credit me the $4 I owed for a croissant when I raised my frustration but this didn’t placate me. I lived in Studio City for many years and will return regularly to visit friends - however I am not sure now I will stay here again. "
