Stayed for two nights and there was a continuous smell of weed being smoked on the second floor. Also could hear arguing and loud music even though they said that a quiet time after 10. I was gonna call down to the front desk to notify him of the loud music, but decided against it because it was just a very young girl there and didn’t want to put her in a position

Was actually very surprised that a room with such excellent ratings was less than I hoped for. Staff was excellent and the breakfast was good, but there is no spectacular view (fields, road cut, neighborhooding building), the room is no longer "newly remodeled" with slight wear, and the room was not as clean as I had hoped. Maybe my disappointment is causing one star less, and we did not go into Freeport which may be beautiful, but I rate it as an average hotel stay.

My new hunting trip place to stay
Our stay was extremely nice, the room was very clean and comfortable, also great service and this hotel caters to hunters which I love, they will do breakfast and coffee earlier than normal for the hunters on hunting trips which makes me give this hotel staff and service an 8 out of 5 stars lol absolutely amazing hotel!!!!!!

The age is showing a little at this hotel. Our room was comfortable, but the bathroom was a bit small. We had a room by the “mechanical room” and there was a noisy machine that cycled on and off, disrupting my sleep. The sitting chair had worn arms. The pillows definitely needed to be updated. There’s were no fresh linens for 2 days, so we had to go to the desk to ask for towels on the 2nd day (we stayed 4 nights.) Otherwise it satisfied our need for rest while visiting family.

I expected a little better quality from Baymont so I was a bit disappointed with the condition of the room. The beds were very comfortable but the pillows left much to be desired. There were things that showed much wear and the carpet was in need of replacement. Breakfast was adequate but nothing fancy. It is a better hotel than some in the area for the price.

Rooms needed some basic maintenance. Sink faucet had a bit too much pressure and sprayed over the counter and on whatever you had sitting there. There was rust on the wall on the left side of the shower. The carpet had too many stains. The staff was good & enjoyed the breakfast.

good experience
Overall we had a good experience, staff was great. They only thing I really noticed was in our room there was a wet/ sticky spot on the carpet. It was not small so you cant miss it when stepping between the beds. Also you could shower but not fill up the bath, the thing to switch for shower to bath was stuck in place. The staff was very friendly and inviting and they did their job very well.

The box elder bugs all over in our room. The smell of marijuana throughout the halls and stairway. The security is obsolete when people prop open the side entrances. One room had so many children and adults coming and going it wasn’t safe feeling. Trash thrown by our car as we were packing to go. Hair in the bed and tub so we didn’t shower and we used it own bedding. Staff at the front desk was amazing and caring.

The box elder bugs are terrible this time of year here. We have tried to keep them out of hotel, but they find every little space to get in. We are trying to stop people from propping doors open but don't always catch them. We will have a discussion with housekeeping about the condition of your room.

Decent, clean hotel but needs updating.
Came for a family wedding. The front desk clerk was very nice and funny! The hotel was clean but definitely needs updating. The elevator was out of order. I thought it was expensive ($172) for a one night stay. Cannot comment on the breakfast or pool since we didn’t use either. Would stay again but not at that price.

Thursday afternoon check in for one night. Upon entering the room perfume from something was strong enough to take your breath away. After running air conditioner for a while room air was OK. Sink drain ran very very slow as if a plumbing problem. Found that toilet did not drain. Thought it might run over. Waited between flushes. Used toilet in the morning; feces piled up in the bowl. Not able to use the shower in the morning. We want a total refund. Manager was not available when checking out. Supposed to telephone on Sunday. 3:15 PM no call thus far. Waitiing for a refund.

Nothing that i don't like. We sleep soundly. The place is quite old but when it comes to cleaning which is i'm very much particular. For me, the management did their BEST. Good place to stay again and again.

Our carpet was wet. The bathroom ceiling was completely damaged, walls were chipped. The toilet only flushed if you held the handle down. I could not change rooms when I asked even though they had others available.

Gross!!!
We were moved from one room to another due to roaches. The place was very run-down and the carpets were disgusting. Rooms weren't very clean and definitely would never visit again.

The staff is always so friendly here. The breakfast was good, too. The only issues we had were with parking. You want to get a spot early, or the semis will have them all taken. Overall, a great place to stay!
