I wasn’t initially planning to stay in Freiburg, however very glad I decided to stay the night. I read many travel blogs about Freiburg, and they all seemed to imply finding modern lodging in Freiburg was fairly difficult, and hotels are kind of my thing. This hotel was in prime location for getting in and out of Freiburg, walking distance to Old Town (I arrived on Rosenmontag - had no clue). Staff was VERY NICE, hotel was clean, and the room was quiet.

Freiburg is awesome! Super great for vegetarians / vegans. Definitely go take some time to walk around the city. The only weird thing is the hotel cleaners kept ignoring the do not disturb sign.
