Great convenient location for travellers

First time there, overall a very positive experience. Earlier checkin was possible which was very helpful too. The only slightly negative about this is the location next to sometimes busy traffic, but that is nothing that the hotel can change obviously.

Clean, competent staff, quiet, in city center

The hotel is close to the train station, which is convenient. Everyone at the hotel desk was helpful, cheerful, and competent. They made check-in and check-out easy and fun. I was thinking this would not be such a great place but it turned out to be one of favorite hotels on this trip because it was so close to the train station, very clean, and quiet and the staff was kind.

I stayed two nights and everything good. The city view with train station is nice and accessible to the old town. One thing I didnt like was every morning someone knocked the door or even opened the door, I guess it's for cleaning. "do not bother"card on the door is necessary.

For people traveling by train is the location amazing, you basically jump out of the train and you jump in the hotel, nearer would be impossible. Staff is really friendly and the receptionist gave me my room at 12pm, well before the check-in time (upon availability, of course). Breakfast has a good variety of quality product. Free bottle of water and fridge in the room are a plus. Negative point was the fact that the hotel is already a bit old and outdated,I stayed for one night so I can really oversee the problem but for longer stays it may be an issue. Cleanliness is just average but maybe it also depends by the general old status of the hotel.

Great location at rail station with easy walking to Old Town… good connections to local trains also. Was surprisingly quiet! Shops/eating places at train station is great for quick access. Try Dean & Dave’s - great fresh choices! TV channels very limited.

Great location for a short stay. Cleanliness was irreproachable, linens and bathroom in particular. Very friendly staff, who responded quickly to our request for extra pillows.

The hotel is right next to the train-station, convenient if you are passing through Freiburg. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Our flight in was delayed and the staff was friendly and very helpful. A no-nonsense hotel.
