I booked this hotel through Expedia. I had to cancel this stay due to attending an urgent family matter. The refundable cancelation period was expired but it was 15 hours to check-in. According to the hotel policy "The cancellation fee is equal to the accommodation fee payable for 1 night of stay". So, I was expecting to get the refund for the second night. But the hotel rejected any refund at all. As I booked this through Expedia, I was not able to contact the hotel and asked for the refund according to their own policy. Expedia staff was also unable/unwilling to assist.

"The resort definitely needs some TLC, since it's been up for sale needed updates and repairs are just not happening. Having said that the place is comfortable and clean and the staff are fantastic. We were a bit disappointed that the restaurant is now only open on Friday and Saturday nights but understandable ..."
