The staff was friendly and the room was clean but old. The whole jotel would deserve some proper renovation.
The biggest issue was no air conditioning in the room and only few parking lots on the street.
Overall it was not worth the price I paid.

Classy, helpful staff, nice bar, good breakfast, good ac in rooms, lovely indoor pool. Quiet remote suburb of Munich. 20 min walk to restaurants other than what is next door, which is closed in early August.

I have stayed at a few properties in Ismaning now. The breakfast is good but could benefit from some variety for the benefit of guests staying for longer stays. I ate the same breakfast for an entire week. :( I liked that the rooms have small fridges. That's actually what drove me to pick this hotel this time. The ability to have the option to buy cold meals from the grocery store and keep them refrigerated (although the fridge is quite small.) The beds are just average in terms of comfort but that seems to be standard in Germany. The hotel was very clean and the maid did a good job. The host is very accommodating, even with a language barrier. The area is good. It's an 8 min walk to the SBahn station. There are a few good restaurants nearby including Ricks's on the same block. The park is nearby. It has a beautiful and quaint small town feel. Would I stay again? Maybe. The breakfast was better across the street at Hotel Zur Post, but they had no fridges. Other hotels have spas. I may try one of them next.

"Clean room, friendly staff. Good location. Gym is small, but nice. Didn't realise we had to pay extra for the pool and sauna - still worth it, but would prefer to know in advance. Asked for a coffee refill, this took about 90 minutes. Enjoyed the stay overall, and would return."
