"First I’ll talk about the pros. In Valdosta, this is considered elevated….I’ll take it. The decor was cute, but the fixtures were cheap. Simple fixes like, a toilet paper dispenser that worked, more room to put your shower necessities, and somewhere to unload your suit case would be nice. There was a room attached to the bathroom that would be perfect for lockers…since we were in the Law & Order room! Okay, Cons. First off, the code didn’t work to get in the room. After going back and forth with the receptionist on the PHONE, she was finally able to help me get in the door. We had reservations at the restaurant downstairs and we were late because we had to shower after traveling all day. The restaurant had a good aesthetic, but the prices didn’t match up
To the quality of food and service. We were their latest reservation, but were rushed instantly. The food was salty, the drinks were basic, and the only thing that was good was our server. Lastly, we are tv people. We like to go to sleep with a timer. We had to move the tv to the bedroom. Some people might like that, but it isn’t something we’re into. Would I stay there again, probably. Would I eat at Oak + Olive again…if my reservation was at 7:00pm and I lowered my expectations."
