DoubleTree by Hilton Kingston

"We had one night there and everything was great. Staff were very friendly. Beds were vey comfortable…we would definitely stay again."
Ramada by Wyndham 1000 Islands/Gananoque
8/10 Good
"We checked into our updated room a little before 3 pm. I had pre-paid with Expedia so they confirmed my ID, requested a credit card for incidentals, and showed us a map of where our room was. The room had high ceilings which made it seem larger. However, there weren't any drawers to use to put our clothes in. The bathroom is split enclosed (shower-toilet) and open sink area. They have a large dining area for breakfast with a few hot items (eggs, sausage, coffee). The pool is a decent size, though I thought the water was a tad cold. Once you're in (the water) you can adjust. Beds were decent, complete with four pillows. Overall, a nice stay."

Quality Inn & Conference Centre Kingston Central

"The checkin and staff were excellent. The facility is renovated and is decent in general for a Comfort Inn. The room appears clean, but the bathroom ceiling had mould on it and the sheets on the bed were so worn that they had holes in them. The towels were in good condition. They mentioned a “Grab and go” breakfast or get 10 % off the adjoining restaurant for breakfast. We departed around 7 am and saw no “grab and go” where we were told to find it, but my expectations were pretty low as to what it would be, so we just headed out. Being a Comfort Inn, I don’t expect much other than a reasonably adequate room at a fair price, which it delivers on. There is a fee of $6.78 for parking, which I think is rediculous for a hotel that’s not in a downtown area, but was expecting it as it was mentioned in previous reviews."
