"What a beautiful, restful place, and such a picturesque setting for a quaint and charming lodge. It felt like a step back into a quieter time. We arrived pretty late, so missed out on the afternoon amenities, but there were still chocolate chip cookies waiting for us in the dining room. Even though we had a room on the front (the highway) and facing the parking lot, it was quiet and the view was pretty with all the trees. It was very clean, and we slept well. Breakfast was fabulous (and huge - we didn't eat the rest of the day!). I'm gluten free, and there was plenty of yummy homemade food to eat. The coffee from Rogue Roasters was so good! A morning walk through the woods down to the river was the perfect start to a day of driving to our destination. The staff was super helpful, filling up bags of ice for our cooler, and sharing stories about the inn. We already made reservations for the way back home."

"This is an older style motel that has been remodeled extensively. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have a nice TV, great air conditioning, Wi-Fi, etc. There is a coffee maker in the room along with a microwave and mini fridge. The bed was a bit too firm for my back but very clean with nice bedding and good pillows. The bathroom was extremely small and narrow, which made taking care of business a little challenging. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and breakfast is provided from 6 to 10 AM every day. It is truly a continental breakfast with no protein sources other than some yogurt and sausage gravy, with the typical muffins, cereal, etc. There are lots of fast food options close by and itโs not very far off the freeway. Itโs a pretty basic, no frills property but reasonably priced. We were just passing through for one night and it met our needs. I would stay again."

"We stayed in the cottage because the main estate was booked. The main disappointment was that there was a coffee pot and filters but no coffee. Everything else was great! They had a dinner event the 1 night we stayed and the staff was very busy."
