"Our stay at Ruokan Hiyoshi was the highlight of our day trip to Chichibu. "Chichibu Saitama is an amazing oasis with easy access from Ikebukuo. With most izykaya's offering Ichiro's Malt Whisky just makes it even better. Many shrines are also in the area and all are easy to walk to. Nipponia is an INCREDIBLE place to stay with every aspect exceeding my expectations. Near to most everything you would want to do in Chichibu makes it even better."

"Breakfast is free but not a lot of items if you want western food. The is a McDonald's across the street for breakfast and a Starbucks that opens at 9am, osan air base is a 15-20 minute walk and the train station is just up the stairs. Hotel is being renovated and all the rooms are fresh"
