"We enjoyed our stay. The property is in good condition and has a lot of amenities. Be careful if you have a big car because the roads to access the property are quite tiny."

"Excellent view of Mt. Fuji. The owner is very nice, speaks good English, picked us up from the station for free, and gave us wonderful recommendations around the area, also responsive to texts. They also upgraded our room to a 1 whole house to ourselves, very clean and fully furnished. If you want a quieter and relaxing area with a great view of Mt Fuji, this is the one!"

"Bathrooms and shower were good and clean. The hostel is located in a central area within the town with a store right across the street. My big problem with this place is there is no heat. I visited in late March and although many extra blankets are provided, it was insanely cold at night. This really took away from my experience. If you stay here at a warmer time of year, I think it would be good."

"This is a pretty nice house with many rooms and beds to accommodate a large family up to 12 comfortably. It has 2 toilets with 1 bath/shower. It’s an old house, but remodeled to have nice touchable areas. Bath/shower room can be remodeled to more modern style. It has 2 stories with narrow stair case with turns. It felt a little cramped but really efficient use of the house spaces. Overall, it’s a good alternative to renting 3 rooms at a hotel."

"The hotel was everything it advertised to be!! Although there were clouds the first couple days, when they cleared, we had a perfectly unobstructed view of mt Fuji. It was like looking at a postcard, totally unreal. Our host was above and beyond. His knowledge of local to do’s, food, sights, etc, was great and reliable. We stayed in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Kawaguchiko. Although Kyoto was amazing, nothing could top our accommodations in Kawaguchiko. Do yourself a favor and and stay here. Thx again!!!!"
