"Very helpful and supportive to change my room into a non-smoking twin-bed room from the other style. Economic room rate and great dinner site (Izakaya). One problem was to reserve a taxi from another town back to the hotel in the evening (This is not the hotel's problem but the area's one)"

I messaged the hotel staff during the window of time necessary to cancel without late-cancellation fees, however the staff did not respond to me until after that window had passed, and would not budge on their policy of charging me for the entire stay. I was very unimpressed by their business ethics...

"温泉の種類が豊富で、朝ごはんも夕飯も美味しかった！キッズスペースがあるので、子連れにぴったりだと思うのですが、喫煙所があるため、キッズスペースもややタバコ臭い。お風呂の脱衣所にもタバコの臭いがしました。 建物自体は全体的に古い印象ですが、お風呂やキッズスペース、食事スペースが綺麗だったので良かったと思います。 タバコ臭さを改善してもらえれば、最高だとおもいます"

"Room was a little worn out but actually lended to the old European style they were going for, garden view from room was pretty good but very nice from the all-day restaurant during breakfast buffer (which also had a great selection of Japanese and Western food), would be good if they had a coin laundry available rather than or additional to the pay per item wet or dry clean"
