"My wife and I were given a bedroom where the bed was right next to the glass pane of the window. After I have complained and asked to change room, I could sense that the hotel staff were trying to fob me off. After I have mentioned that we're regular customers and have stayed in Alva hotel every year since 2016, they were still very reluctant to change until I have provided the dates of stay, the hotel eventually promised to change. Alva never values old regularly customers. "

"The hotel room was clean but we do not believe the size of this 29sqm meter room is accurate but feel like 26sqm only. A hidden gem in Mongkok! The staff were very nice, helpful and polite. Will definitely stay in Cordis again in the future but I would not choose to upgrade again"

"This is a modern, brand-new hotel with fantastic, friendly staff who went out of their way to be helpful. The location is excellent for exploring the area. However, be aware that if there is an event nearby, the traffic becomes a nightmare and the hotel’s arrangements for access were a bit disorganized. Great stay otherwise!"

"This property was pretty clean and the staff were never nice and attentive; especially at the restaurant where they were very kind and gracious. Overall, the property had very large rooms and beautiful scenery being on the rocky beach. It was also just about 20 minutes fro. Hong Kong Disney, which is why I selected them with such a great low nightly rate and being so close to the park. It's not a close walk to anything for food, so you would have to eat at the restaurant or order delivery. The had a daily shuttle to take you to the train station to help get around Hong Kong, or you can easily order a taxi or use Uber. I would consider staying here again"

"The whole 11th floor from corridor to room has a strong smell of SWEAT just like inside a gymnasium in a secondary school. It is quite annoying from time to time. The 6th floor, the self laundry floor, is more pleasant with the help of strong laundry washing power odor."
