"This hotel is located in a very nice and modern area of Quito, close to many restaurants and shopping malls. The rooms are spacious with views of the mountains surrounding the city. Also, little hidden gem is the Epicur restaurant tied to the hotel, which offers really delicious food."

"The property is decorated in a distinctive and home-y way, with many personal artifacts and a lot of character, in a "shabby chic" style. The proprietors are friendly without being pushy; happy to offer advice or assist with tour arrangements or transportation if you want, but not intrusive. Downsides: our bathroom had issues; randomly no hot water, toilet couldn't be flushed with any toilet paper in it, and the shower was dated. You can't adjust the room temperature directly. Breakfast was pleasant but fairly minimal (e.g. my husband had to ask for butter/jam for his toast). All in all, a pleasant stay with just a few annoyances. "
