"Overall the stay was good. Place is a 10-20 min. walk to most theaters. Take note that the rooms are small; that didn't matter to us, but it is worth pointing out as it may matter to others. I would give five stars, but can't do it. Even though the front desk said the bar would fill a bag of ice for us, the female bartender with glasses and red braids refused to do it, and was pretty rude about it in the process. "

"This location won't uphold the standards of other double tree locations. They dont offer cookies for kids, or water for the family. If they did, they dont buy enough for all guests because we never recieved any, and when asked they had none. The gym was worn down and dirty, and had no waters available. The alcohol is twice as expensive as other locations as well. And the internet is extremely slow, regardless of payment option or not. The only good about this double tree is the comforters and pillows which are true to thhe standard. I always book double tree and this is the first time I regretted it. I may have to reconsider my options next time. "

"The rooms are dingy compared to the rest of the hotel: plus, they charge $35 a day which can also be used to purchase food at the hotel. So you’re forced to buy food at the hotel. Don’t let those people sell outside of your hotel, it makes people feel unsafe. Plus, housekeeping went inside our room even though we put the privacy sign on and they kept knocking on our door early. They didn’t respect the privacy sign on the door. "

"Size of the room was fantastic. Plenty of space. Breakfast was just bagels and muffins and coffee, but they were rather large. Perfect size to fill you up. There was a fridge in the room, so you can also get stuff from the market just across the street! "

"I stayed here for my birthday solo trip and had a great experience! The room was the perfect size for one person; any more and it might feel tight. The bed was comfortable, and everything was clean. I loved the hotel’s modern boho vibe and neutral aesthetic, it felt really nice and worth the price for the area. The location was perfect. It's right in the middle of everything and easy for rideshares to get in and out without heavy traffic. The service really stood out. The front desk made my birthday special by giving me drink vouchers, and check-in/check-out was quick and smooth. Between the great view, fast elevators, and overall vibe, I’d definitely stay here again."

"This is one of my new favourite places to stay!!! The location is UNBEATABLE! Close to transportation, in the middle of Times Square, moments away from broadway theatres! The staff are amazing. We got a choice of which floor we wanted to stay on! They were very accommodating and even let us move our trip by a day due to a flight cancellation with NO FEES! This property was a huge factor in making this one of our favourite trips ever! Thanks for the awesome stay! "

"The breakfast is going to the diner next door which has rude staff the rooms are very small with no space. Amenities where? I asked for a different room because it was not what I asked for nor what was advertised. I fit even get an apology. I will never stay here or recommend "

"I have stayed here several times for a simple, affordable place in midtown. I like the lobby seating areas for eating to go food, proximity to theaters, and friendly staff. Keep in mind in spring/fall that the A/C is only installed May-September, so on a weirdly hot day the room was toasty. Note that if you need a microwave, ice, or tea kettle, they are on the first floor in the bar (non-operating) area."
