"The best part of the stay was the view, which is possibly the best from any location to the east of the reservoir. Otherwise, do not expect much in the way of frills. The cabin was clean. The bed was not really comfortable and felt more like a sofa bed. The fireplace (with poorly-designed chimney) does not adequately exhaust smoke from the cabin. My guess is that it would only work for a one- or (maybe) a two-log fire...anything more overwhelms its capacity for exhausting smoke. The stay...

8/10 Good
"Overall, great value for the money. The unit could definitely use a deep cleaning from wear (roof and mold) and better directions aligned with restaurant location. The breakfast was absolutely incredible and blown away by the view."

Frequently asked questions

Can I find holiday rentals in Gama?

Yes, there are holiday rentals close to the most popular sights in Gama, or you can select a more secluded option if you're looking for a relaxing stay.

What’s there to see and do in Gama?

While you're exploring the area, Embalse del Guavio and Chingaza National Natural Park are a couple of picturesque spots to get outside and enjoy nature. In the wider area, you’ll find Alto Culebra and Laguna Chingaza.

What’s a holiday rental in Gama like?

Holiday rentals are privately owned properties you can book for a few days, or a quick weekend, in Gama. Holiday rentals offer amenities like WiFi and washers and dryers so you'll feel just like you're staying in your own home. If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, a holiday rental can offer a sense of seclusion away from public hotel lifts and lobbies packed with people while still allowing you the experience of travel. You'll also get more space in a holiday rental than in a standard hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is a popular choice for a family trip or a small group gathering.
