"This place is a hideous gem. I was apprehensive about staying here as it seemed so remote but I couldn’t be more wrong. "Paula was an amazing host and flexible to our family needs. Very responsive and always helpful. Only tip is to communicate ahead of time to ensure the apartment meet your needs, they have a few different options. We had one that was not ideal for us, but then Paula quickly resolved and was very understanding. Finally, area is walkable don't recommend having a vehicle. Use Bolt in town. "

"The owners should be clear that this property is in a restricted zone. Uber is not allowed and access to taxis is almost non-existent. As a solo traveler needing to leave for the airport in the early hours, I left this property for another to ensure I was able to get to the airport in time."

"really surreal place! an old building, kind of a maze and hard to find the room, felt like staying in a secret penthouse. our room had views of the pool and Pantheon! wow. and the harbor to the other side. great walking location to Fado spots. very very cool spot. a last minute booking as we missed our flight, but would stay here again! the staff was super friendly."
