"Beautiful rooms, very comfortable beds. Couldn’t use the pool, definitely not the right season for it. Too cold. I’ve lived in Tahoe before and seen this but didn ’t know how nice of a place 3Peaks was, and great room price!"
"The hotel was excellent. Closed to everything, clean, nice breakfast, parking available, no noisy at night even though it closed to highway, excellent service. Look run down and dirty from outside, but it was clean and new inside. Very nice stay."
Harrah’s Lake Tahoe – A Caesars Rewards Destination
10/10 Excellent
"Upon checking in the first staff that assisted us was not pleasant, with attitude insisting that i booked rooms according to their vacancy i wasnt aware that I booked the king beds and smoking room thats why she gave me 2 rooms king beds smoking but I beg her to change it because We are coughing already and smoking rooms were unappropriate but shes not very accommodating. I thought they were after customer's satisfaction It was a blessing in disguise that my card was decline need to deposit cash first when we came back another staff filipino young lady assisted us this time she was able to change the booking we were so glad by rooms she put us in 2 rooms 1 king 1 2 queen beds and with a beautiful view and non smoking.
The room is very clean and well organized"
"Stay elsewhere unless you're looking for a "view only" experience. No coffee filter for AM coffee, slower than mud WIFI, TV signal kept glitching out and we finally gave up, no automatic lodge entry doors, very old luggage carts that are difficult to maneuver, and some other small annoyances. Very dated lodge and rooms but an amazing view."
"Good location on the beach, restaurants and shops were close by. Next to lake cruises and sailing from Ski Run Marina. The beds were very hard and not that comfortable. Complementary coffee/water and fruits/pastries (usually offered in other resort lobby areas like Marriot resorts) were not available for guests using the property game room, pool, and grounds. There was a self serve/self pay snack shop next to the check-in desk. Self parking cost the same as valet parking and was not conveniently located on the property. This made getting personal items from your car or even loading your car very inconvenient. Check out time required everyone to wait for your car to be fetched."
"After booking through Expedia and arriving at the Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe, the front desk agent (don't know her name) put us in a room in the 'Heavenly' tower. The view was great but the room was a disaster. Rickety and damaged old furniture with a bathroom that looked like it was from the 50's with a tub that was full of chips to the surface and damaged, no hooks for towels because they had been ripped out of the wall and patch filled wallpaper. The hotel is going through a top to bottom renovation and it turns out our room floor and above are being closed down and gutted in a week or so. Why they still offer those rooms to customers is beyond me. If the rest of the rooms look like the one we got, they should be shut down now. We went to the check in desk and were lucky that a employee shift change had taken place and the room supervisor, Jennifer helped us. We told her our concerns and she was nice enough to switch our room to a room in the newly renovated 'Sunset' tower. Like night and day. The Sunset rooms are very nice! Major 'Thank You's' to Jennifer for salvaging our visit. The rest of our stay was very nice and the Golden Nugget was very good and will get even better once the renovation is complete."
