"A couple of hours before check-in we were told if online pre check-in was not completed we risked not being allowed to stay, with no link or instruction where the online check-in was. No link was given when requested and this hadn’t been mentioned before. We ended up having to send passport details over WhatsApp. On arrival found the entrance uninviting and dirty. A tiny lift that glitched with the lights going off. The apartment was spacious but not at all in keeping with the design level and quality demonstrated in the listing photos. Tired and worn furniture and decoration. Very hard bed, basic poor quality bedding and only one pillow per person, grubby marks around light switches and on headboards. Dirty and scuffed walls and furniture. Poor views from one bedroom. Tiny kitchen and dining table tiny with only four chairs, not big enough to seat the 5 guests booked for ( room advertised as suitable for 7 people) . The photos in the listing includes many photos of Luxembourg landmarks which cannot be seen from the apartment and don’t reflect the area that the apartment is in so seem misleading also."

"Room was clean and the staff were polite and helpful.More staff required at busy breakfast times to ensure food was refilled quickly.We were waiting a good 10 minutes for some foods to be refilled."

"Breakfast was fresh and lovely Italian restaurant across the street as well as a little market. The Mexican restaurant in the hotel was very good also. "

"A gem of a hotel right in the heart of the city. Given it is a literal stone’s throw from the central station you might expect the city noise to leech into the rooms but, remarkably, it doesn’t which allows you to be right in the middle of the action without loosing a wink of sleep. The included continental breakfast was also above expectations. In addition to the expected pastries, fruits and bread the hotel also offered cooked eggs, bacon and sausages with freshly squeezed orange juice as the cherry on top. If we were to return the only things we would do differently would be to a) stay longer and b) stick to the standard room. We upgraded to the junior suite this time but didn’t end up making much use of the lounge area."

"Great location and free water for duration of my stay. Only negative is the hotel policy to place a hold on your credit card for a damage deposit. First time in 30 years I have seen this. However didn’t detract from my stay and would recommend particularly if you are planning to use the train for visits elsewhere as perfect for this . Tram is also a five minute walk"
