"Good stay, comfortable sleep and friendly staff. Our only complaints were the tv which didn’t work properly, we expected our room to have view which it didn’t and it was pretty noisy in the morning because they put us above the cargo area ."

Although this hotel is technically in Gateshead, it is right on the tyne river side, a 2 min walk over the millennium bridge and you are in newcastle city centre.

Spent time looking at The Angel of the North. The history surrounding the monument was very facinating. Also the public have nominated small trees in the vicinity as memorials to family members who have passed away. Felt this was poignant and moving.
