"Very modern apartment in a historic area of a historic city. Very comfortable stay. Good central "home base" if touring by car between Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Doune Castle."
"This was exactly what is on the pictures, a beautiful modern open plan house that is clean and fresh
The hot tub was ready to use and was amazing
Would recommend this property to anyone "
"Pettycur Beach House was an absolute delight from start to finish. The standout feature is undoubtedly the breathtaking sea view – waking up each morning to the waves gently breaking against the shore was a joy. The house itself was spotless, with a level of cleanliness and attention to detail that made settling in effortless.
What truly set it apart, though, was its charm and character. Thoughtfully curated artwork and quirky design touches gave the space real personality, making it feel warm,...
"After a long drive to get there it was lovely to dump the cases and get into the hot tub.
The accommodation was better than expected and we both enjoyed our stay there.
We were told that the drive was a wee bit tight but other than that, no issues"
"Accommodation excellent, very central .
Dundee far exceeded my expectations, what a lovely place to visit.
Only about a 10 minute walk from train station and most places walkable but also lots of buses if you want to explore.
The apartment was just perfect, very comfortable and location couldn't have been better ."
"Ideal location with charming village area nearby. Easy walk to local pub and to the water. Flat was spacious and well equipped; but could have used a bit more maintenance and some air freshener (near the sea, so a bit of a damp, musty smell). It was a bit farther from central Edinburg (~40 min) than I had expected; but the quaint village feel of the area was well worth the few extra minutes drive. All in all a nice place to support local sight seeing and day trips."
"This is a quiet country like cottage. Owners are not maintaining the property, grass was long and unkept, kitchen had greasy walls, dirty blinds. The main bedroom had an ant infestation. I had to was raid to kill the nest under the window. The driveway backs on to an abandoned building that has garbage piles.
The main road that the hohae is on is like a race track, lots of loud cars roaring by.
Kitchen has a poor amount of glasses to drink from. Very dirty, especially when they charge a...

"Rooms were brilliant. This hotel was an old Jute mill and the room reflected that with some original features mixed with modern facilities. Rooms were spacious and had everything you need. Coffe machine and pods .. fridge with complimentary water was a nice touch. Breakfast was good .. buffet style and had decent selection. Only negatve with breakfast was that there was no haggis. Rest of hotel was reslly well pesented although had to queue for 20 mins at reception to check in but that more because there was a festival on and place was busy. Car parking was there but small and all spaces filled .. had to park in close by council car park so not a major issue."
"Beautiful hotel and lovely food, staff were friendly, (very annoying to find out the cost of our stay would have been £247 if booked direct with hotel but we were charged £305 through yourselves) "
"Disappointed with Expedia.
I booked two nights here and I was asked by my company to stay an extra day so when I went to book an extra night in the apex I was shocked to learn it would cost me £160 per night without breakfast.
The first two days I booked was £127 per night + £14 parking fee.
So when I tried to book an extra night Expedia had bumped the price up to £160 per night .
I checked and there were plenty of rooms available so there was no excuse .
Absolute disgrace! "
"Decent hotel for the price and the rooms were clean ,Rachel in the breakfast area was so helptand so was Ali who made sure we were comfortable.
The hotel is situated in a residential area which is not the best developed but still hotel seems nice and safe
Has a chippy /bar/restaurant and ice cream parlour right next to it in case I come back from Edinburgh early
Easy transport options (bus trainand park and ride from near hotel
Would recommend for a decent priced hotel away from city .
Would recommend!!"
