"The room was very spacious, accommodating and cozy . We had a great view of the river which we did go into . There’s great food near by as well. 5 oaks is fantastic, the old mill is the best around. Take a trip to gatlinburg to Howard’s for a streamside dinner and hit Anakeesta around 4 for the best views and pictures and stick around for the Luna vista walk and follow it by doing the firefly walk threw the trees , you won’t regret it"

"The hotel was very good for the price but when I got there they had no record of my booking, which was disconcerting. Fortunately they did have rooms available and they gave me my room for the price Expedia charged me."

"The Check-in needs help, and you don’t get enough info to make decisions you need to. They put me in a room behind a locked gate so we had to tote are luggage about 200ft up hill and then 3 flights of stairs. I had 2 room and each room had one handicapped person. I didn’t think to ask booking for handicapped room, never saw a room that you couldn’t at least pull your close to building to unload but nooooo not here. We tried to change rooms but only could one changed so I let other handicapped person move to better. I just did the set could walking up hill with copd. Now the valets, waitresses, waiters and bartender where top notch. If I go back I’ll make for to ask for handicapped rooms."

"The three goo things about the hotel are the location, the soft beds and the staff. It's older and can definitely use a lot of work but that was reflected in the price. It was the cheapest hotel we found available in town. Everything was walkable from the hotel. You step out your door and right into everything you could ever want to do in Gatlinburg. The beds were clean and comfy with warm bedding. The staff was helpful, kind and easy to talk to."

"This is the best place, especially if you have a kid. Yes the stay is a little pricey but it has so much to offer."

"The room was clean and welcoming. Cold A/C. Mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker all in room. Tv with multiple channels and WiFi in room. Water pressure in shower wasn’t great. Beds were on the firm side, but fine if you like a more firm bed. Staff is always nice every time we’ve stayed here. Breakfast isn’t like a 5 star meal, but we enjoy it. Waffles, cereal, biscuits, gravy, sausage, eggs, French toast, different bread options with a toaster, etc. coffee available. We leave full. The pool is our favorite with a great splash pad for the kids and a hot tub. They’ve always been accommodating for our requests. We only ever stay here when we come to the area and will continue to do so."
