"Despite renovations being done to the building, there was no noise early in the morning, and everything was cleaned up and put away for the evening. The room was clean, the view from our oceanfront room balcony was awesome. The sound of the ocean waves was soothing, the sunsets were gorgeous, and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. Those 6:00 pm cookies every evening were delicious and worth coming back to every evening. Access to the beach was just a short walk down the stairs or elevator to the back of the building and a very short stroll (1 minute) to the beach as you can see from our room. We very much enjoyed our stay."

"The location is perfect for visiting Haystack in Cannon Beach, walk the beach or use the offered beach chairs to enjoy the sun rise or sunsets. Our bedroom was very comfortable and clean, and as we visited in April, enjoyed using the timed fireplace in our bedroom to fall asleep in a cozy way. Amenities are great and we were offered delicious warm chocolate chip cookies! We loved our stay."

"Disappointed by staff not caring about noise complaints. Guests were blaring music and lots of us other guests complained because our walls were shaking it was so loud. Staff said they would take care of it but the music would still start up and the party was so loud we barely slept and couldn't sleep to the sound of waves like I had planned.
The bed was comfortable and the pillows and towels were great. The location was great. I think it would have been a perfect stay had staff been trained to care about preserving the guest experience. They didn't ask how my.stay was at checkout. On check in I was ignored because the staff were doing computer training. Every interaction was disappointing as staff would excuse the party noise or say "we're taking care of it". When the guest flashed someone from the balcony window they still weren't kicked out. It ruined the night for so many guests and that really surprised me with Best Western. They should have a policy and training in place for handling situations like this one. Nobody seemed to know what to do."
