I was travel with my dog; they are so welcoming to dogs. t Thank you for that. I'm just not sure what to say about this. The room was cozy, the bed was hard for me. I was in room 204 which was right over the door that went into the kitchen. I'm not sure what I was herring the door and them throwing stuff outside the door or not sure was too lazy to check super tired. Well then it happed the next night... AND A WIED BUZZING NOISE ABOT EVERY 2 TO 3 MIN. I was so tried I fell asleep. So anyone that is a light sleeper would not be able to deal. With that being said the Staff was awesome and the breakfast burrito was delish.

Worth a stay
Always a whimsical experience at their hotels. The shower was extremely clean. The bed was very uncomfortable to me personally...kinda lumpy etc. Room was quiet eventhough there was an adjoining door.The last time I was here they didn't have the annex. It's not great when it's crazy rainy and windy walking from the restaurant to the hotel Annex. The coffee in the morning is great. I would happily stay again and always recommend as I have been to most of the NW Properties in the last 14 years.

Mcmenimans is always a great place to stay. The overall experience quality is very consistent. The golf course is one of the best in the country, public or private. I am a passport member so was able to continue my journey toward completion!

My room overlooking the golf course was superb, with the charm of a vintage-style hotel, but with all of the modern amenities. The dining/drinking venues are delightful. And, of course, the whole property has that unique and wonderful historical ambiance and McMenamins whimsy! Great value too, with the off-season pricing at the end of November.

Great place to stay.
The facility is absolutely beautiful and located next to a golf course. Room was excellently decorated and the wood finishes made it quite attractive. Bar man was exceptional, helpful and friendly. Made the experience unforgettable. Food was very well prepared and flavorful. Overall a great experience.

Best: Golfers & Early Risers!
I had requested ground floor rooms or elevator access since my father uses a cane and has trouble with stairs. They replied w assurances they would accommodate us. The clerk did not have this info at check-in. They did accommodate us in ground floor rooms, but had to shuffle other guest reservations to do so. If you’re not a golfer, be advised the grounds crew starts early. (6:30 AM when we were there.) I believe the mowers and other equipment are stored on the lower level of the Annex building so we were awakened early as they started their day. Also, once ‘the links’ were opened the parking was mostly taken by golfers and staff. (Golf carts are also stored on the lower level of the Annex.) Maintenance note: our toilet flapper valve apparently leaked as our toilet tank would refill a little about every 20 minutes.

Great location close to a lovely beach. The hotel has a lot of character and the room was cozy. The on-site pub has good food too. I did find the mattress too hard and the a/c/heater, which turned on and off continually, noisy and hence disturbed one throughout the night.

What a nice property with all amenities you need on site. We arrived the day after a major event. I was un aware and staff was still recovering from the onslaught of people the day before. There was some trade off as our service was quite slow but still friendly. Overall a pleasant weekend getaway!

Quaint hotel with unique features, my kids loved finding the secret hidden rooms on the property. Fun activities for family as well as great golf course. Highly recommend getting the passport as these properties have lots more to offer besides this one. Short walk to the beach which was NOT busy and away from touristy bustle. Yet we were just a few minutes for Seaside and the tourist attractions. We loved our stay, food was great, staff were outstanding.

This was a delightful first experience with a McMenamins hotel! The service was lovely - my partner and I were particularly impressed by Leticia at the front desk and Aria in the restaurant. The room was somehow spacious and cozy at the same time. We look forward to returning.

We were thrilled to stay here until we did. The lights flickered as if it had a wiring short, the bathroom walls were grimy and the lighting was very dull. There wasn't any usable wifi, the bed was super firm, too firm. They decided to start construction under our window at 7:30 am! The receptionist was not friendly or helpful, she said we made a mistake because we didn't have a booking, she sent us next door twice, I pulled my phone out to show her the reservation...she said 'oh you used Expedia no wonder', like we were dirty. We were sooo very disappointed in our stay, it's not worth the price charged.

We always enjoy staying at McMenamins. We only wish there were microwaves and mini fridges in the rooms for more comfort (leftovers etc). We wish this location had a pool as well. Otherwise, great location with close access to the beach.

Unique rooms which are all varied in their decor. The bed was not comfortable for us. A bit hard. Plus there is no coffee maker in the rooms so if you are an early riser and want coffee you have to wait until 7:00
