"This is a ski resort,but we were there in June. Nice rooms,excellent restaurant and very easy parking! Not much around the hotel itself,but it had a lot of activities. Pretty much halfway between Bergen and Oslo if you are driving. "

"We got a spacious family room in the first floor with natural light and views of the mountain across the valley. Unfortunately, it was not sound proof and one could hear music from the hotel bar until around midnight. Good breakfast w several options. We enjoyed the proximity to the slopes, the indoor pool and the bowling alley. Dinner at the hotel was good, specially the service. "

"We loved this hotel. Looking at the antiques and old photos was really fun. The beds were very comfortable and the room really clean. The hotel staff was helpful when asked about hiking or any other questions we had. The breakfast buffet was huge and really good. We were in Geilo during their shoulder season before summer with few restaurants open, so we had both nights dinners in their restaurant. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel! "

"Great room except view was a wall. Had everything we could need along w/icebox & stove. Shower was so small you had to turn sideways to get in! Food was expensive in dining area. $50 for nachos & a club sandwich. Nice stay but expensive"

"Local cozy and warm cabin where you are connected to the nature with outdoor toilet in winter and summer I recommend it so strongly with nice and kind lady welcoming you next morning for not included breakfast."
