"This was my first time staying at this hotel and I left with a big smile on my face. My room was very clean, the staff was very friendly, courteous and friendly and the breakfast is to die for. The bar is huge too. If you're a big drinker there's so much alcohol there that you can spend the entire night there, have a friendly chat with the bar tender, throw all your money away and if you're too drunk to get to your room you can either sleep in the lobby in one of the comfortable chairs there or one of the staff workers will gladly assist you back to your room. If I ever go back to Berlin and need a place to stay I will certainly choose this hotel."

The location is excellent—very central and convenient for exploring all that Berlin has to offer, with many of the city’s major sights and attractions easily accessible. The rooms are unquestionably decorated in a style from an earlier era and could benefit from some updating such as painting but they are exceptionally spacious, clean, and comfortable. We especially appreciated the amount of room compared with many European hotels. Overall, the combination of the central location, large and comfortable accommodations, and convenience for sightseeing made this a very enjoyable stay. We would absolutely recommend the ARCOTEL to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located base for experiencing Berlin."
