the hotel room smelled horrible, when talking to the front desk...they said all rooms smelled that way because it was old pipes. and then i had a ton of bugs in my bed, i took videos and even showed the front desk. i would never stay there again and want my money back or something

Rooms are big and clean with big bathrooms. Staff is friendly. Area is convenient, close to old town and shopping. Hotel is little outdated. Breakfast is basic.

Hotel is absolutely not 4-star as rated. Building and room is old / run down, showerhead did not stay up in it’s holder, and drain did not work. Has the feel of a cheap hotel - provided 1 bottle of combined shampoo body wash, other amenities and mini fridge were locked with a key and exorbitantly priced if you wanted to use them

I have been staying here for years and it has really gone downhill. I will never stay there again. Checking took 25 minutes. The room was substandard.

The Hotel Century provided me with the basics, a safe accommodation, overall cleanliness but is overpriced. For a bit more I would have gotten a beautiful room with top quality amenities but there was no availability for the dates I needed.

Property was a little tired, but clean and maintained. Ants on the table at breakfast were surprising but the worst aspect was the front desk staff - they were from the 1950’s…rude, ignorant and gave the impression you should be grateful to be staying there.

Very tired hotel; desperately needs renovation
Very tired hotel in desperate need of a full renovation. Room very dated and noisy from both the road and hotel. Slept terribly in the tired single bed with very thin worn duvet and pillows. Shower over bath with curtain sticking to you. Temperature constantly going from boiling to freezing. Only positive was that the location is very central for where I needed to be.

As soon as you walk in, it smelled very moldy. All the sofas are run down. Staff was very nice. Rooms need to be updated as the furniture was for the 80s or older. Air conditioning was turned off, not even a possibility of having fan working. Clean but old. Breakfast was a disappointment, fruits were old, eggs had water in them amd desserts felt they were reput from the day before. Clean in the dining room.

I like this place.
I like the location a lot. The hotel is a good value. Breakfast overpriced. Nice people. I’ve stayed here more than 10 nights. Overall a good deal.

Dirty, old, run down and disorganised.
Over 30 mins to check in. Booking not found for an elderly lady who had spent 40 hours travelling and had all of the booking evidence printed out, then her room was not ready 3 hours after it should have been. She was not offered any refreshments while waiting. Room numbers are spoken out for everyone to hear of those even lone females. My fridge was a health hazard with black mould that takes many weeks to grow, the spores would be airborne for anyone opening it.

The location was safe but the property was run down, rooms were more like a hostel and there were no amenities, not even breakfast or water included. There is no air conditioning and the room was really hot making it hard to sleep, plus all night long you could hear cars honking, people screaming and our stay was during the week. I can't imagine what it would be like to stay there on a weekend. The rooms were roughly $400 per night and we stayed there for three nights, I should have checked out but I booked through Expedia and they wouldn't even let me cancel the last night so we just left and ate the money.

Convenient location, adequate rooms. A little sad and dull but the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a disaster, out of almost everything. Some of the front desk staff was fabulous and others were not so much.

Was disappointed with the hotel, it is extremely dated and needs a total refurbishment. I have never stayed in a hotel that have such small bathrooms, it was depressing. The bed was more like a trampoline.

I had a very beautiful room, as well as a lovely breakfast. Its very Close to shopping centers, tram stops and much more so great location. The staff are lovely. Overall very pleasant and calm surrounding. I loved it.

Beautiful stay in Geneva!
The hotel was in a great location (short walk to Geneva lake) and was beautifully decorated. Our room was upgraded by the very welcoming receptionist, which was very spacious and had a great balcony. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, offering to provide me with extra amenities when needed and moving the car for us. I was very happy with my stay and it was great value for money. Recommended.

Geneva hotel stay 2019
I called hotels.com internationally and wasn’t able to connect. I used the chat and will call when I get back. I had the worst experience, no WiFi, no hot water and no heat. I have a letter from the front desk manager on this for proof and supporting detail. I will also call my credit card company to file this dispute of a refund is not issued. The quality of the hotel was very bad. Please notate this. Thanks.
