This Hotel is no where near Geneva Airport it is amongst an industrial area soo nothing around backing on to train station only option is to eat at hotel which was expensive apart from that the hotel and rooms were lovely

Excellent, 7 minutes train ride from downtown.

With railwaystation Zimeysa next to the building, which will take you to downtown Geneva in 7 minutes, and a 10 minute taxi ride to the airport, this was perfect for a stay for seeing Geneva in the afternoon and evening, and flying out early in the morning the day after. We were in transit from the Swiss Alps, before flying home. Would book again.

this is a beautiful hotel, very modern and spacious - the convenience of transportation by train to central Geneva was most impressive - 2 minute walk to train- 10 minute train ride! The only inconvenience was no refrigerator in the room, otherwise I recommend, highly.

Geneva Airport Mercure

I discovered at the airport that the airport shuttle was only available if it had been previously reserved so I took a taxi, which cost 25 Swiss francs. Then I discovered during check in that the airport shuttle did not start running until 6am, which did not work for my 7am flight the next morning, so it was another 25 francs for another taxi. However, the food, ambiance, and service at the restaurant were excellent.

Feels like the hotel had chronic shortage of staff issue. Slow service. No one really told us we had to book shuttle service from airport to hotel ahead of time, had to call at airport and waited for 40 minutes for shuttle. We stayed another hotel near airport before, had no issue with shuttle. In fact, the shuttle driver from that previous hotel saw us standing there and felt bad for us, urged us to continue to call. We booked for a 3 people room, queen bed sofa-bed. When we entered, found out there was not bedding for the sofa-bed. They switched us to another room, it was fine.

The hotel was extremely clean and the facility had the appearance of being brand new. The bed linens and pillows were very high quality and extremely comfortable. The entire bathroom was first rate, and this included cleanliness, appearance, and lay-out. The shower provided plenty of water, if needed, and even the shampoo and bathing gels provided were excellent and smelled good! The staff that we dealt with were all very good! Everyone was polite, friendly, and efficient. Their English was impeccable, much appreciated since we don't speak any French. Early in the morning, the shuttle bus to the airport left right on time. Even though we were only there for one night, it was definitively a "Five Star" experience!

far from city center Train takes about 10 or 15 minutes there not much around hotel but a convenience store Would be nice if the gym was included but it was extra Would be nice if they had some other blanket options The featherbed was pretty heavy! Hard to get comfortable. Staff were very helpful. would have been nice to have been given a detailed info sheet on the train number and instructions how to take the train. Clean hotel though! and new which made it nice

Great hotel fairly close to Geneva Airport.

Recently opened hotel ? May 2022, on a fairly quiet street about 10 minutes by taxi from Geneva Airport. Excellent Reception Staff who went out of their way to help following our flight cancellation. The room was pristine and bed extremely comfortable. Little external noise due to good sound proofing which made for a good night's sleep. The restaurant was good with a reasonable, if somewhat expensive, breakfast buffet and lunch and supper menus. The only important oversight was the total lack of a usb socket anywhere in the room or hotel and no adaptor available via Reception. The Staff were fully aware of this so must have had multiple requests/complaints.

I didn’t show up due to visa rejection , I called the hotel a night before for cancellation and he told me to call the next morning, for me to wake up and see deducted . I called the hotel for explanation yet they didn’t refund the money back to me indicating it’s the hotel policy and they won’t and can’t refund . Yet my reason of no show is visa rejection .

Hotel easily reachable from airport, very convenient shuttle that runs every 30 minutes to/from airport, conveniently located by a train station that takes you to Geneva downtown in a few minutes. There is the option of taking buses to other zones too with bus stops close by the hotel. Area doesn't have many options to do anything. The room was comfortable, although I would have liked to have a fridge. The staff was very nice and helpful. I thought the hotel had a gym of its own. The gym that is in the hotel is run by a third party and you need to pay separately to use it.

Great design and super location

Our two days stay in Mercure hotel was just perfect. The place is super clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. The design is really great, makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. You get the ticket for all kind of transportation from the reception desk. It takes 10min to Geneva center by train which is 30 seconds from the lobby. There is a good restaurant with a seasonal menu in the hotel.

Amazing service!

The staff at this hotel went above and beyond to make sure our stay was easy and comfortable. The front desk arranged for a taxi to take us to the airport at 4:30 AM. The restaurant packed us some snacks for our early morning departure. And when my husband left his cell phone on the bed, the front desk arranged to have it delivered by taxi to the airport. We are so thankful for everyone working at the hotel.
