"Great stay, great atmosphere and popular. Staff were fantastic I was well looked after. My room was clean and comfortable just a little dark as worked in the evening but not a complaint. Greene King have a great vision and my only observation was the premises is looking tied in places which Iโm sure they know about."

Pub light meal good and Sea Shanty singers a bonus.Good position to enjoy Lynmouth and convenient for the excellent Cliff Railway to see Lynton. enjoyed the Norther Walk and the Valley of Rocks. Very friendly people - made to feel welcome, thank you."

"The hotel is well overdue for a makeover, the staff, however, are excellent, although they forgot to service our room on a 2 night stay. The room was extremely disappointing, being both small & very, very scruffy. The position of the hotel is absolutely perfect for exploring Ilfracombe, if staying again will book direct with the hotel and ask for specific rooms, in all a very enjoyable visit, apart from the accommodation, the breakfast was excellent! Mark and Shirley"
