Hotels near Georges River National Park

"Mortdale Hotel is an older property that has been renovated in the recent past. It appears the hotel is a secondary business. The desk is the bar on the main floor, not a problem. They were helpful and efficient checking us in. The commuter train runs by the hotel but the trains are quite quiet. I didn’t hear the trains unless I was awake. Excepting the train the neighbourhood was quiet. The air conditioning was great. Temps were cool so we used the unit to keep the air dry most of the time. We were out and about so we didn’t use the sports bar."

"A quiet room accessed by an elevator and the kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of power points in the bedroom and an up market bathroom. I enjoyed my stay."

"Decent location, parking was a strange experience with a tree blocking our spot in the way, rooms a little out dated but for the price and location nothing to complain about."

"We liked because of the facility for transportation :Buses and trains the room service was intermittent,on the first ocasion lasted 12 days without room service, having to personnaly mention to the cleaning staff, the supply of coffee and sugar some times not apparent. The person renting the property was a personal friend, came from overseas, and the impression she took ,unfortunate it was unpleasant, opposite of my previous comments about Australia"

"Both room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Hot water was quite slow coming up which led to confusion as to which way tap settings worked, but plenty of it once it arrived. Also air con did not seem to want to blow warm air, even though set on 32 degrees. Overall a pleasant stay."

"17 year old was not allowed to walk from the carpark back to the hotel room with 20 year old sister due to club rules. Parent had to be with the 17 year old at all times when not in the room. "
