Honda was incredibly helpful, outgoing and kind to us. The property and rooms are clean. A short walk to the main tourist attraction. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. "I came here with my mom, we loved it here, the staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs and helped us with reservations for dinner around town. The staff runs a tight ship, everything is very organized. We appreciated the staff always checking in on us when they saw us. My mom and I were very impressed with the breakfast, ready waiting for us, it was absolutely delicious!! We felt safe here with the camera at the entrance and loved the onsight laundry. We also really appreciated the staff using the translator, that was very helpful. We had an excellent time here and love the islands beauty and culture. We would come back! "

"Loved this guest house! The room is nice and the guest house has common showers and bathroom as well as a common kitchen where you can store whatever you need in the fridge or freezer, which ended up being very handy as almost every store closes before 6pm.. they also offer food there in case you couldn’t get any and I found that very thoughtful. They also offer snorkel rental for 1000yen and is definitely worth it!"

"Average experience, this is clearly a newly open residence and only one floor is in service while the owner is still renovating the second floor.
Maybe a lot for one person to handle , but professionalism could improve, cleanliness was ok but not perfect and while some things are newly renovated, this is an older building. Owner is helpful though and this may all improve in time . For now it’s a bit expensive for what it is, but there is limited options on Aka island anyways.
