"Myself and my husband enjoyed our stay at Tamala hotel. We were there for 2 weeks. Initially we had issues with our room, but this was sorted fairly swiftly and were given a room in better condition. All the staff were very approachable and helpful - particularly Babou, the housekeeper Musa Ceesay and Babucarr. Entertainment was great and happened regularly."

"This property was once elegant---but the rooms are very ordinary---more like a 2 star at best. The ambience, pools, setting are great---food is good---service fast and friendly. Internet is horrible. Thinking it is just the country---and if that is the best the country has???"

"A Gem; construction at Kalimba so they rebooked us at the adjacent Kamara resort. Great property: aircon nice and cold, good breakfast offering, tasty food at restaurant. Front desk staff helped in arranging a driver to visit monkey park, crocodile pools, city tour, and car to airport. Would love to go back. Only nit I have is provided toiletries were skimpy"

"We liked the quiet tranquility most of the time though occasionally noisy with officials having parties. The staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly. We liked the room with private outside area. We liked the infinity pool. We were surprised that there was a poor selection of fruit available at breakfast but otherwise it was a good spread. We were impressed with our spa experience and felt totally relaxed afterwards. The green taxi drivers’outside were very friendly and reasonable priced too and took us to Sengambia strip for the evenings for around £4 return. Overall a fantastic relaxed holiday. "
