"This was our second time visiting Forio and we were so glad we stayed here. The location is amazing and the sun deck is great for watching evening sunsets. The family are welcoming hosts who do everything to ensure you enjoy your stay. We can’t wait until our next visit. "
"Lovely and stylish accommodation! My daughter and I enjoyed staying here a lot. The pool is amazing and the gardens are very pretty. It is a small and very cozy place that I would def recommend."
"Property is well maintained. Pool area was great. Breakfast buffet in the morning on a beautiful patio with an ocean view
Just a beautiful old grand hotel in every sense"
"Beautiful hotel. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Pool is amazing. Breakfast is delicious with lots of choices. Location in town of Forio is perfect. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We’ll be back!"
"Outstanding staff that always went above and beyond during our stay. Yummy breakfast, lots of thermal baths to try and located in a quiet and walkable area!"
"Very convenient location, near Forio port. Quite noisy, but the windows block most of the noise. The room was super dated with furniture from the ‘70’s. Same with the bar area.
The garden is nice with two thermal water pools, plus there’s a warm indoor pool. They have mud treatments and many other treatments in the spa area.
Breakfast is crowded and coffee from a machine is not acceptable, especially in the Campania region, which supposedly boasts the best espresso in Italy. Even the coffee from...
"There are nearly 30 steps to enter the building. I booked last minute not knowing it would be difficult to enter the building to receive the key. I was lucky the housekeeper was there to help me. Phone number listed on Expedia had no service (taxi driver was trying to call for me). No regular reception hours.
Room was clean, but very basic. Not soundproof as listed - could hear TVs from other rooms, and all coming and going (but it was not a problem).
Conveniently located. Pool on rooftop is a...

"Its a family run hotel, everyone was very helpful and kind! It has private access to the beach too, close to all local amenities and public transport. Hotel could benefit from some upgrading so giving more business to them can help to transform it in the future.
Also it was very quiet at night, big plus.
I rarely spend any time in hotels,i only need a quiet and clean and safe place to sleep and wash, and this was perfect for me. And very affordable!"
"I liked the rooftop, the cocktail options on the rooftop, the breakfast pastries were divine, and the staff kind, professional and efficient. I witnessed the best lightening storm on the Sea from my room. So cool!
The walls are thin so you hear your neighbor. Some ants and little nuisance bugs but that's Italy. "
"Upon our arrive we were checked in and our Passports taken for 4 hours. Nit sure what this is about as all other hotels just di IS check there and then. This was my only real issue with the hotel.
Its set amongst the most beautiful gardens, on the waterfront. The area is quiet and we always felt safe, even when walking back from city centre at 1am. Forio centre is approx 20mins walk, an easy to get to and worth visiting. The staff at reception were ok, but the staff at breakfast were amazing, chatty and gave us great advice (we do speak italian so that helps) Our room was perfect, in the new building, top floor, overlooking the sea. Best room. It was spacious with good sized balcony, nice large bathroom and shower. Room was cleaned daily, with no complaints from us. The beach, although small was great, and included in hotel price (someone commented on here they got charged???) Breakfast was ordinary mostly cakes, but this is what italians eat, so it was fine. Air-conditioning was good, but definitely not controlled by us temp as we turned it down but no change in room temp, but at least it was cooler than outside. I would definitely stay here again"
"Hotel and room was fantastic, old Italian country style. The beach, layout, sun beds on the cliff, the epic scenery and even different style of tiles in every single room - what makes it so special. Minus was a lack of non fish/seafood option as my partner doesn’t eat it but other that that food was good for me. "
"Maria at the front desk was absolutely wonderful! She made us feel very welcome, like family, even though we spoke mainly English. The property was located in such a great area of you’re looking for a quiet place to retreat after a day downtown (it’s is still walkable)
Great stay, we will definitely stay here again "
"Americo and his family were very nice and attentive, he gave us a lift to Negombo thermal park, made some calls to a local boat rental company and offered to take me and my family to the port at the end of our stayed. Just keep in mind that the hotel is 30 min walking from forio port "
